Brand Overview
Pina1930 is Tommaso Zorzi's tableware brand, named after his grandmother Pina, a woman with whom he shared a special bond and whose table was always set, regardless of the occasion. For Pina, a beautifully laid table was not a luxury. It was just how things were done.
The first drop comprises two collections. Favola covers porcelain tableware: plates, espresso cups, bowls, and a salad bowl. Cementine covers table and kitchen linen: canvas tablemats, napkins, and kitchen cloths across 10 variations.
Opportunity
Tommaso Zorzi has built one of Italy's most engaged audiences across social media and television. As the host of two of the country's most watched programmes dedicated to home and interior design, his reach into the category was already established.
The tableware sector has seen very few challenger brands emerge in recent years with the ability to combine strong design, genuine identity, and affordable prices. The opportunity was clear: build a brand that could fill that gap, backed by a creator whose audience was ready for it.

Our Role
Pina1930 is Vivaio's first joint venture. As co-founders, we worked on the project from ideation to launch alongside Tommaso, with shared ownership and a shared stake in the outcome. Every decision, from product and supplier selection to launch strategy, was made with a long-term brand in mind and guided by Tommaso's creative vision.
Key Support Areas
Brand Strategy & Financial Planning
We validated the opportunity before committing to it. That meant mapping the tableware market to identify the right positioning, and building the business plan and brand vision to assess financial viability.
Product Development & Supply Chain Management
Getting the product right starts with finding the right manufacturers. For each category, we identified and qualified suppliers from Vivaio's global network before any sampling began. Multiple rounds of prototypes, material iterations, and quality reviews followed. For porcelain specifically, the work extended beyond the factory: fragile SKUs require careful handling from production, through import and warehouse storage, all the way to the customer's door intact.
eCommerce
We built and integrated the full eCommerce infrastructure: store design, payment and logistics systems, CRM, and data analytics, everything needed to run the brand efficiently from day one.
Results
Pina1930 went live on 15 April at noon. In the two weeks prior, Tommaso ran a teasing campaign, posting consistently and sharing his passion for the project with his audience. On launch day, he personally called the first customer to thank her.
